I have decided to give you two short excerpts from my book. The first one is from Nicola's Chapter, Chapter 11; it is in two parts and is the hardest hill to climb and talk about. Her life ended on her 16th birthday and to make matters worse, indeed if they could have been any worse, it was just before Christmas.

I have a sister, Ann, and a brother, Rob. A couple of months ago Ann and I went to Galway Bay because I have recently lost a most dear friend of only 33 years of age. I made the visit a commemoration to Yvonne because she had told me so much about Galway. Mike and I were broken hearted and we still can't take in what has happened. We loved her so much. I have written a short story about how I met her and what she meant to us; I am going to let you read it; it is called
